ARAI Partners with Titan to Digitally Transform Testing Operations
We are pleased to announce that in April 2025, Titan - our flagship Test Lifecycle Management solution - was selected by the Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI) to support its Passive Safety Lab operations for Crash Testing, Pedestrian Safety, and Airbag Testing.

Project Scope and ARAI’s Vision
ARAI’s Passive Safety Laboratory is taking a significant step toward modernization with the adoption of a robust and configurable Laboratory Management Software. The awarded project calls for a centralized system that can support end-to-end test lifecycle management—from intake and planning to execution and reporting—streamlining complex workflows across crash, pedestrian, and airbag testing. .
With Bharat NCAP expected to drive a sharp increase in certification and development testing, ARAI projects the next three years will bring heavy workloads. Currently, there is no unified system to track customer or certification requests, forecast lab bookings, or assess resource load. This makes it difficult to identify bottlenecks, balance workload, or plan staffing and investments effectively. Titan fills this gap by offering clear visibility into demand patterns and enabling data-driven decisions around capacity and resource planning.

- ●Enable primary and secondary approver sign off to ensure quality control.
- ●Log real-time issues such as equipment faults and facility problems during testing.
- ●Track user actions and time spent on tasks for full traceability and auditability.
- ●Use structured report templates to pull data from test requests and checklists.
- ●Incorporate external attachments into reports to create certification-ready reports.
- ●Maintain version control for reports and logs to track revisions easily.
- ●Use dashboards to monitor test completion rates, equipment utilization, recurring issues, and process bottlenecks.
